It's from a privately owned station who have an outgrower program with more than 1500 Guji farmers, whose coffee they buy, process, and export. In practice, this essentially means the mill owner is supplying small holders with seedlings, and often agronomical support as well, in order to promote coffee production in the regions they operate in. The family who owns the mill has 150,000 hectares of coffee too, and makes up a chunk of their exportable volume each year. There were many reasons to be drawn to their Haruse lot this season, with clean cup flavors topping the list. It shares a lot in common with washed coffee (\"wet process\"), especially in the brighter citrus notes and aromatic floral overlay that comes through when roasted in the City-City+ range.
