Nativity Limited 2025 Edition Blend

So, full disclosure: I bought this coffee because it was on sale. It was fantastic. All other reviews are saying that there are fruity and floral aspects to the taste; I would venture to say that there are chocolate-y notes as well, but mostly at the front.
Is it festive? YES!
Is it bracing and robust? I wouldn't say so compared to my lifelong habitual dark roasts- but that's not a bad thing. Sometimes you want a coffee that doesn't make your eyebrows fall out one by one onto your bagel. Sometimes you want a coffee that just makes you smile and greet the day and realize that the same sky you look at is the same sky in which there were, long ago, with the angels, an heavenly host praising God.

It tastes great--just what I want in a coffee

I bought this coffee as a gift for my Pastor. He said it was top notch and robust and said some beautiful things that were so eloquent. He spoke of embracing the robust gifts that God gives and that we are taught of in the Nativity of our Lord and on into Epiphany. He really enjoyed the coffee!

I ordered several of this type of coffee to give away as gifts for Christmas for my ladies group! I didn’t even get to try it I gave it all away but the feedback I got is that it is excellent! I need to order more so I can try it!

This was milder on holiday notes than other seasonal coffees I’ve tried. But that makes it good beyond its stated season. This is one I could imagine as my everyday coffee. It’s one you could happily drink after too many cookies and too much pie.

As a fan of Ethiopian blends, I was totally pleased from the first time I ground this blend for our "pot-o'the day"! ☕

I am enjoying my Nativity Blend coffee. It was a Christmas treat for me, and I love it! Please bring it back again next Christmas!!

Tasty as a pour over

Outstanding as always. Had to remember not to grind quite so fine, but once I did, no problems with the brew, and then Christmas season arrived. :) I have some Tenebrae ready to follow. A bit early, to be sure....

I was pleasantly pleased by this coffee. It is good tasting, but mild in flavor. I have ordered other flavors of Coffee by Gillespie and they have been robust in flavor. Nativity is great for an afternoon coffee. I like the robust flavor first thing in the morning to wake me up, so I use my other Gillespie coffees for that, and enjoy Nativity later in the day.

I bought this Nativity blend as a gift and didn’t taste it, but it sure smelled great! My husband and I brewed the Epiphany blend, and it was delicious!

Nothing better than to give a Christmas gift of warmth! Shared Nativity with coffee fans as Christmas gifts, and brewed some for myself! A cup of warm cheer! Delicious way to start the holiday season!
